Slumber parties are one of the most old-school charming bachelorette parties out there! Get the bridal party together for a night of great fun before the big day. This is a really fun way to celebrate, from the comfort of your own home and whether or not you are on a tight budget.

I’m Zoe and before creating Parties Universe, I worked as a children’s party planner. I love coming up with cute, and unique ideas for special celebrations- and what is more special than the last girls night together!

Gather your closest friends or even a large group, slumber parties are a perfect way to include a group and there are loads of different ways to accommodate sleeping options or invite people for the fun and games and ordering a taxi home at midnight (cinderella style).

There are loads of fun activities you can organise for a bachelorette slumber party. Have a look through these great ideas and see if there are any fun games that take your fancy, or seem like they might go the extra mile in creating a perfect night for your bride.

1, DIY Spa Night: Set up a spa station with face masks, manicure and pedicure supplies, and skincare and beauty products. Create a spa-like atmosphere with soothing music and scented candles for a night of pampering.

2, Movie Marathon: Another perfect bachelorette party idea is a classic movie marathon. Get a stack of the bride’s favorite movies. You can choose a horror movie or a chick flick or maybe a throwback to a movie the bride loved in her childhood!

3, Game Night: organise a slumber-tastic evening of board games, card games, or party games like Pictionary, charades, or trivia. This is the best way to guarantee laughs and a super fun time

4, Memory Sharing: As well as throwback themes of classic slumber parties, this is also a bachelorette party, and it’s nice to incorporate some bride themes games! This could the the maid of honor remit! A lovely, simple way is to have people posts a lovely memory of the bride and groom in a jar and read them out all together!

5, Karaoke Party: Set up a karaoke machine or use a karaoke app and pre-select a list of song of your favorite atists. This is a guaranteed good time for the entire group.

Even if not everyone sings, having the change to be silly and make a fool of yourself can create a lovely, relaxed feeling among the briday party. Group song are a lovely way to include everyone, even the more shy guests.

6, DIY craft cocktail: Set up some cocktail stations where guests can join up in pairs to mix and create their signature cocktail! A great way to elevate this activity is in the garnish options you supply – have a look on pinterest for most fabulous cocktail designs. You might also want to provide plenty of alcohol-free options so include everyone in the mixology process.

8, Wedding-Themed Crafts: Set up a craft station where guests can create wedding-themed crafts like personalized hangers for the bride’s dress or personalised portraits for the

9, Fort Building: Get creative and go old school like a fabulous kid’s birthday party sleepover! Building forts is epic, not only is the building fun but there is no adult who doesn’t feel proud to chill inside a tent they’ve created. This is lighthearted and fun and definitely memorable.

10, Let’s dance: Or Guitar Hero or old school play-station games – what did you and your friends love playing as kids? Buy an old version and have a great time with it at the party!

11, Psychic Readings or tea leaf fortune telling: Arrange for a tarot card reader, palm reader, or psychic to provide readings for entertainment. It can be a fun and mystical addition to the party.

Or, you can do a DIY version, printing out some tea leaf reading sheets, or buying a deck of tarot cards. What better way to introduce some magic into the lives of the bridal shower for a night!

AWESOME Bachelorette slumber party game ideas

I’ve also created this list of fun bachelorette party ideas for games you can play!

1, Truth or Dare: This classic game never gets old. Prepare a mix of fun and daring questions and challenges, and take turns drawing cards or rolling dice to decide who goes next.

2, Bride Quiz – test your bridal parties knowledge with a bride and groom quiz organised by the maid of honor. I went to a brilliant hen party once where we did a quiz in the theme of who wasn’t to be a millionaire!

3, Bridal Bingo: Customize bingo cards with wedding-related words or phrases (e.g., bride, groom, ring, vows). As the bride opens gifts, guests mark off the corresponding words on their cards. The first to complete a row shouts “Bingo!” and wins a prize.

4, Memory Lane: Have each guest write down a memorable or funny story involving the bride or groom. Then, read them aloud, and try to guess who the story is about.

5, Wedding Pictionary: Play a wedding-themed version of Pictionary. Create a list of wedding-related words or phrases for guests to draw, and divide into teams.

6, Wedding Charades: Similar to Pictionary, guests act out wedding-related words or scenarios without speaking, and their team tries to guess what they’re portraying.

7, Mad Libs Wedding Vows: Create humorous or heartfelt Mad Libs-style wedding vows, and have guests fill in the blanks with their own words. Share the results for laughs

Bachelorette sleepover customised pajama ideas

One of the cutest things to do at a bachelorette party is to get everyone matching outfits! You can either customise pajamas or use the bachelorette party to have everyone decorate a cotton dressing gown for wedding prep day. You can customise plain pajama sets in loads of ways!

Here we have curated a list of our best ideas:

1, Blank Pajama Set Painting: Purchase plain, matching pajama sets for everyone in the group. You can choose cozy flannel or cotton sets in a color or pattern that suits the theme. Provide fabric paint, fabric markers, and stencils for guests to personalize their pajamas. They can paint or draw fun designs, quotes, or inside jokes related to the bride or the group.

2, Tie-Dye Pajamas: Set up a tie-dye station with plain white pajama sets or t-shirts. Guests can choose their favorite tie-dye colors and create unique patterns on their sleepwear. If everyone uses a similar colour palette all these creations will be perfect complements!

3, Iron-On Transfers: Purchase iron-on transfer sheets with fun designs or quotes related to the bachelorette party or the bride. Guests can follow the instructions to iron these transfers onto their pajama sets for a quick and easy DIY project. This can lead to very nicely curated and high-end sets, especially for those who don’t consider themselves creative. You can buy pretty designs like flowers and artworks, or the bride could get custom wedding designs printed!

4, Sleep Mask Decorating: For a shorter task, rather than decorating pajamas, you can decorate sleep masks and be able to wear them immediately that night! Offer plain sleep masks, fabric paint, sequins, rhinestones, and glue for guests to decorate their own sleep masks. This DIY activity is both practical and stylish.

5, Lace and Ribbon Embellishments: Provide lace, ribbon, and fabric glue for guests to add delicate embellishments to their pajama sets. They can create lace trims, ribbon bows, or other decorative touches.

6, Matching Headbands or Scrunchies: Another idea as well as pajamas, or instead of if you want a shorter project, is to provide materials for guests to create matching headbands or scrunchies. These accessories can complement their sleepwear.

7, Fashion Show: Once everyone has completed their DIY pajama or sleepwear creations, have a fashion show where each guest models their personalized sleepwear. It’s a fun way to showcase your creativity and celebrate the finished products. Especially if this is the last time you’ll have a girls’ for a while, it’s great to add some flare!
