Parties Universe was created in 2023 with the aim of being the ultimate inspiration site for kid’s party hosting! On our website we hope to bring joy and ease to DIY-party planners across the country. These posts should give you inspiration for the best, creative ideas to keep the event affordable and let you focus on your celebration!
Our website offers loads of free content with the hope of bringing joy and ease to party planning. We love celebrations, and we want to help you keep the focus on celebrating and keep the stress out of planning.
Since then we have developed to include holiday content and some adult party ideas, as well as fun, gift idea guides to go along with the birthday planning content! Behind the scenes we are working on bringing you beautiful illustrated invitations, scavenger hunts and creative adventure mysteries which will be coming to the site soon!
Meet the Team
Zoe (founder and creator)
Hi I’m Zoe, the founder and creator of Parties Universe! I love children’s stories, and high-energy adventure games.
In my late teens and early 20’s I worked as a children’s birthday party host, creating and developing bespoke themed parties. To me, it was the absolute best job in the world! I loved the creativity, the energy and the total joy around children’s birthdays.
I grew up in London, and have lived for a time in Germany during my studies, and then in Australia on a gap year. After university, I began working in research, completing post-grad studies in renewable energy technology, and I found it fascinating … but I really missed the creativity and joy of my old job!
My personal circumstances meant I had to move around a bit, meaning it was hard to establish a base and begin a party-hosting business, so I came up with the idea for Parties Universe as a way of continually creating and being part of the party joy as I share all of the tips and tricks I have learnt over the years.
My hope is to be able to offer the best ideas for easy DIY party hosting and connect with other creatives to offer the most exciting party-related games, mysteries and adventures!
Over time I have expanded out from children’s parties to bring you creative ideas for magical, joy-filled celebrations at many other life milestones!
